The McNeil Institute of Risk and Uncertainty and the Madden College of Business and Economics are pleased to announce that Le Moyne College has been formally chartered into Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS), the international professional fraternity for students of risk management, insurance and actuarial science. The new Delta Tau Chapter was recognized at the 54th Annual International Conference held in Hartford, Conn. on Thursday, Sept. 25.

Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS) is the leading international organization dedicated to preparing students for careers in risk management, insurance, and related fields. Through its network of more than 100 chapters, GIS provides students with:

The establishment of the Delta Tau Chapter at Le Moyne represents a significant advancement for the College鈥檚 Risk Management and Insurance program. It will expand academic and professional opportunities for students across disciplines while further strengthening Le Moyne鈥檚 presence within this vital and rapidly evolving industry.
